Bangladesh win toss, elect to bat first against Sri Lanka
Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal won the toss and elected to bat against visiting Sri Lanka in the first of a three-match ODI series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital on Sunday.
Both the teams will be eyeing a series win to move up the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League table.
The other two games are slated to be played on May 25 and 28.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh recently played a two-match Test series, which was won by the former. Sri Lanka had defeated Bangladesh by 209 runs in the second Test, while the first ended in a draw.
