Adultery case filed against cricketer Nasir

An adultery case was filed against cricketer Nasir Hossain on Wednesday.

Md Rakib Hasan, the first husband of cabin crew Tamima Sultana who recently married Nasir Hossain, filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim.

Tamima Sultana was also made an accused in the case.

After a hearing, the magistrate took the case into cognisance and recorded the complainant`s statement.

The court also directed Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the case and submit a report on March 30, said Md Helaluddin, bench assistant of the court.

According to the case documents, Tamima Sultana tied the knot with Nasir without divorcing the complainant.
