RU admission test to begin June 14
The admission test of Rajshahi University (RU) for the academic session (2020-2021) will start from June 14.
The entry test under Unit C will be held on June 14, Unit A on June 15 and Unit B on June 16 this year.
The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by RU Vice Chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan, held at administrative building, according to a press release issued today.
The tests will be held under three shifts each day -- 9:30am to 10:30am, 12:00pm to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Around 15,000 students can sit for the examination in each shift, the release added.
A maximum of 45,000 applicants will be selected from each unit on the basis of their HSC results.
Students who have passed the HSC and equivalent examinations in 2020 and fulfil the minimum requirements for the admission are eligible to apply.
The primary process of the applications will begin from 12:00pm on March 7 and will continue till 11:59pm on March 18. Primarily selected applicants will have to complete a final application process between March 23 and March 31 to sit for the admission tests.
Each student will pay Tk 55 for primary application while Tk 1,100 for final application.
The entry tests will be only on multiple choice questions (MCQs) instead of written test. Further details can be found on the university website www.ru.ac.bd, the release added.
