After winning hearts in Bangladesh ‘Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale’ whose music has been composed by Debojyoti Mishra, is now receiving rave reviews in the international film circuit.

The documentary-drama has been selected at several prestigious international film festivals this year.

While it was recently screened at the 10th Jagran Film Festival at New Delhi, the film is now an official selection at the 40th edition of the Durban International Film Festival in South Africa along with two other film fests Barcelona Asian Film Festival and the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival in South Korea.

It will be premiered at Australia’s Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) as well.

‘Hasina-A Daughter’s Tale’ is not only a story of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and her political career, but it’s a documentary on Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.

It’s a heart-touching biopic, a fascinating account of a daughter’s perspective on how the country’s darkest hours had changed her life forever.

Bangabandhu’s grandson, and Centre for Research and Information (CRI) Trustees Radwan Mujib Siddiq, and State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid co-produced the docu-drama.
