Bangladesh wins 3 bronze in International Biology Olympiad

Three Bangladeshi youths have won bronze medals attending in 30th International Biology Olympiad(IBO) in Hungary.

Three Bangladeshi youths have won bronze medals attending in 30th International Biology Olympiad(IBO) in Hungary.

This year, 328 participants and 86 countries around the world attended in the olympiad. Four of them attended as observers.

To attend the Olympiad, ‘Team Bangladesh’, a team of 6 youths reached at University of Szeged of Hungary on July 14. Among them, 3 won bronze medals. They are- Additiya Naag, Raafsan Rahman Rayan and Madhob Boiddan Shongkaran.

With the leading of Group leader Dr. Md. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, President of Bangladesh Biology Olympiad and Deputy Group Leader & Coach Samiul Alam Razib, Ahnaf Tahmidur Rahman, Additiya Naag, Raafsan Rahman Rayan and Madhob Boiddan Shongkaran were attended in the olympiad. They were selected from BDBO-Samakal Bangladesh Biology Fest.
