BNP invites PM to its Tuesday’s iftar party

BNP on Sunday invited Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her party’s presidium members to its iftar party to be held in Dhaka on Tuesday.

BNP on Sunday invited Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her party’s presidium members to its iftar party to be held in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The party will host the iftar party in honour of political leaders at Ladies Club.

A three-member BNP delegation, led by its assistant office secretary Taiful Islam Tipu, went to AL President Sheikh Hasina's Dhanmondi political office around 4pm with invitation cards of the iftar party.

AL deputy office secretary barrister Biplob Barua received the cards.

Tipu said their party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, one behalf of its acting chairman Tarique Rahman, invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, general secretary Obaidul Quader and its presidium members to Tuesday’s iftar party. “We hope they’ll join it.”
