Rapid Action Battalion arrested 29 people, including examinees, a bank official and members of question leakster ring, on a drive from Kalaroa upazila on Friday (May 24) morning.

These examinees and members of question leakster gang were arrested while engaged in the task of fixing the answer to the leaked question papers at a building nearby Kalaroa police station, Lt Md Mahmudur, Commanding officer of Rab-6 Satkhira, told.

 “We have come to know that they have amassed around Tk 10 lakh by leaking question papers of Primary Teacher recruitment test through digital devices and made the solution of questions over phone. The question leakster ring in Dhaka has already received Tk 5 lakh and after exam the rest of the money will be paid”, he added. 

Tipped off, RAB members cordoned off the building. From there, 22 people were arrested and as per their information, seven others were arrested.
