Special Biman flight to return injured pilot, cabin crew

The special Biman flight is scheduled to take off at 3:30 pm on Friday.

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane crashed at Yangon International Airport on Tuesday.

Shakil Meraj, general manager of public relations for Biman Bangladesh Airlines has said a special Biman flight will leave Dhaka for Yangon – to return the injured pilot, cabin crew, and ground engineer.

The special Biman flight is scheduled to take off at 3:30 pm on Friday.

“The injured passengers, who want to return home will also be brought back,” said Shakil Meraj.

The flight is expected to return with passengers—who were approved to fly by doctors and completed formalities on Myanmar’s side—on Friday night.

On Tuesday, 19 people—including a child and the plane’s two pilots—were injured when a Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane skidded off the runway at Yangon International Airport.
