Of them, one was arrested from Rampura in the capital, one from Gazipur and two from Khulna.

The arrestee — Md Abu Bakar Siddique of Board Bazar in Gazipur, Saimon Islam and Shakil Mahmud of Khulna, and Al Mahmud of capital’s Rampura.

Confirming the matter on Monday, Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, senior assistant director (law and media) of RAB headquarters, said they were arrested from Dhaka and outside of Dhaka. “Legal process will be taken against them,” he added.

Earlier, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said all coaching centers across the country will remain shut for a month from January 25 with the aim of preventing question paper leakage during the SSC and its equivalent examinations.

Also, she said that the government has taken strict surveillance measures to stop SSC question paper leakage.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations under 11 education boards begin Monday across the country.
